As an Owner, you receive an array of fantastic travel benefits. But sometimes those benefits need a little extra explaining. To help break down these details and more, we’ve providing a helpful guide to using your ownership that will highlight your different benefits in each newsletter. We’re starting with StarOptions vs. Starpoints.



What is it?

StarOptions® are the value assigned to each villa based on resort, villa type and season.
Starpoints® from the Starwood Preferred Guest® program are the point system within the hotel industry’s leading guest rewards program.

What can you do with it?

With StarOptions, you can: Stay in a large villa; Vacation in a more popular season; extend your travel for more time away; Experience a new villa resort. With Starpoints, you can: Stay at more than 1,100 hotels and resorts in 100 countries; Redeem for flights and special offers.

How to Exchange/Convert

To exchange, contact Owner Services at 888 PLAY 191, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Eastern standard time.
To convert, contact Owner Services between October 1 of the Use Year prior to the Use Year being converted and March 31 of the Use Year that is being converted.
