The Recreation Pool and surrounding deck area will be undergoing resurfacing December 6 – 24. The Relaxation Pool deck will also be resurfaced January 6 – 20. Each pool will be closed during these times. While the two pools at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa will be available, we apologize for any inconvenience these enhancements may cause during your stay as we work to deliver you a better outdoor and pool experience.
We invite you to check in after 4 p.m., and request that you check out before 10 a.m. However, if your arrival or departure does not coincide with our schedule, the Front Desk will be happy to receive your bags while you enjoy the surrounding resort facilities. For your security, keys will only be given to the individual with the reservation unless other arrangements have been made. The Westin Kierland Villas is surrounded by the Kierland Golf Club, a Troon Golf experience. The club features three fully mature, nine-hole courses, each 18-hole layout with a par-72, 6,900-yard design. You will find expert instruction headed by Mike La Bauve, who is recognized as one of the top 100 instructors in the country. Rental equipment and shoes are available to you from the Pro Shop, as well as a full range of gear. Please call 480.922.9283 for tee times, reservations and golf rates.
Allow us to anticipate your grocery needs from the very first day of your vacation. Simply call the McDowell Market & Grill at 480.624.1721 to place your order at least 72 hours prior to your arrival. For a nominal fee, we will accommodate your villa in advance with all of your favorite treats, beverages, sandwiches, breakfast foods and fare for the grill.
Your villa will receive a midweek housekeeping service if you are staying for at least seven nights. If you are staying for more than a week, an additional housekeeping service will be scheduled during the check-in process. Midweek service is not provided for stays less than seven nights. Additional housekeeping services are available directly through the resort for a fee. Additional housekeeping fees will be automatically charged to your villa folio for the second or more reservations (based on transaction date not arrival date) within a single Use Year associated with a single ownership interest. Guests who are not staying on an ownership stay should contact their booking source for their housekeeping schedule.
The resort will make every effort to fulfill your requests, but requests are subject to availability and therefore not guaranteed. Rollaway beds, cribs and other special request items are limited in supply and are fulfilled on first-come, first-served basis. Charges apply for rollaway beds and some other special request items. Rollaway beds are limited to one per villa and are not available in the one-bedroom villas due to space limitations. To make arrangements, Starwood Vacation Owners should contact Owner Services to place special requests; rental guests should contact their booking source or the resort directly; exchanger guests should contact the exchange company.

Ample and convenient self-parking is provided throughout the property. Recreational vehicles, trailers and oversized vehicles cannot be parked at the resort. Please contact the resort for information about alternative parking.
In order to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible and to keep your villa clean and comfortable, our policy is that pets are not permitted anywhere on the resort property. Allow us to assist you in finding one of the many kennels and pet boarding facilities in the area to best serve your needs. Please make arrangements prior to your arrival by calling the resort directly. Exceptions are made for pets that fall within the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Bring your laptop and enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access inside your villa and in other places around the resort. The Business Center also offers hard-wired Internet, computer, printing and faxing services (fees apply).
Effective January 1, 2014, The Westin Kierland Villas will adopt a modified smoking policy that prohibits smoking on the balconies or patios of all villas. Presently, smoking is not permitted inside the villa, but is permissible on the patios or balconies. If signs of smoking are detected in your villa, a $200 fee will be applied to your folio. The new policy prohibits smoking of any sort, including electronic cigarettes.
Additionally, in compliance with the Smoke Free Arizona Act, the pool deck is designated as a non-smoking area. There are designated smoking areas in the vicinity of the pool and throughout the resort.
