The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort has a villa interior infrastructure project and an exterior walkway project continuing through late October 2014. All resort amenities and activities will remain open and unaffected by the project activity.
We invite you to check in after 4 p.m., and request that you check out before 10 a.m. However, if your arrival or departure does not coincide with our schedule, the Front Desk will be happy to receive your bags while you enjoy the surrounding resort facilities. For your security, keys will only be given to the individual with the reservation unless other arrangements have been made. For the safety of guests traveling to Mexico, the Mexican government regulates the amount of US currency that foreign travelers can spend or convert to Mexican pesos. Foreign travelers are limited to a maximum combined total of US$1500 per person, per month for currency conversion and folio charge payment. You may visit the front desk to have US dollars converted into Mexican pesos. Original passport identification is required, and the resort will hold a copy of your passport. Currency conversion is limited to US$200 per day.
Resort dining and shopping outlets are unable to accept payment in US dollars. Purchases at these outlets may be paid with credit card or Mexican pesos, or charged to your guest folio.
While exploring the local area, guests are recommended to pay with credit card or Mexican pesos, as many local businesses will not accept payment in US dollars.
Savor the simplicity of grocery pre-stock. To have your villa pre-stocked with groceries, beverages and other necessities, contact the resort prior to your arrival.
For your comfort, we include a complete cleaning of your villa prior to check-in, as well as a restorative mid-week refresher. If you prefer, daily housekeeping can easily be arranged at a nominal charge by contacting the resort directly.
If you are traveling with children or an extra friend, we are happy to provide you with cribs, highchairs or rollaway beds upon request. Please note that special request items are limited in supply and therefore requests are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Charges apply for some special requests. Rollaway beds are limited to one per villa and are not available in the studio premium villas due to space limitations.
Ample and convenient self-parking is provided throughout the property and valet parking is available to all resort guests. Additionally, alternate parking arrangements for RVs or oversized vehicles can be made by calling the resort directly, as they are not allowed on property. We will be delighted to help you make these arrangements when you call the resort directly. Please note that parking fees are assessed to some guest types.
In order to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible and to keep your villa clean and comfortable, our policy is that pets are not permitted anywhere on the resort property. Allow us to assist you in finding one of the many kennels and pet boarding facilities in the area to best serve your needs. Please make arrangements prior to your arrival by calling the resort directly. Exceptions are made for pets that fall within the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort Villas & Spa prohibits smoking of any kind (including electronic cigarettes) in all villas, including on your balcony. Violation of this smoking policy may result in a US$200 nonrefundable fee charged to your folio. Please look for designated smoking areas throughout the resort.
In addition, the resort observes local smoking ordinances that may prohibit smoking in some public places.
Bring your laptop and enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access inside your villa and in other places around the resort. The Business Center can also keep you powered through hard-wired Internet, computer, printing and faxing services (fees apply).
