Renovation Closings & Relocations
The Westin St. John Resort & Villas is undergoing an extensive renovation, thus further elevating this retreat as a premier Caribbean destination. With the guest experience at the forefront, the renovations will follow a rolling timeline to ensure that Owners and guests receive the same level of comfort and service as always.
Renovations include a refresh of 96 poolside hotel rooms, as well as the conversion of buildings 21, 22 and 23 in the lower hillside section to 54 spacious studio and two-bedroom villas known as Coral Vista Villas, which are scheduled to open January 2015.
The following areas at The Westin St. John Resort & Villas will be closed and/or relocated during the renovation timeline:
We invite you to check in after 4 p.m., and request that you check out before 10 a.m. local time. However, if your arrival or departure does not coincide with our schedule, the Front Desk will be happy to receive your bags while you enjoy the surrounding resort facilities. For your security, keys will only be given to the individual with the reservation, unless other arrangements have been made.

The Westin Concierge is available prior to your stay to offer assistance with planning your vacation activities. To contact the Westin Concierge, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to include the guest name, reservation number and arrival date.
Your villa will receive a midweek housekeeping service if you are staying for at least seven nights. If you are staying for more than a week, an additional housekeeping service will be scheduled during the check-in process. Midweek service is not provided for stays less than seven nights. Additional housekeeping services are available directly through the resort for a fee. Additional housekeeping fees will be automatically charged to your villa folio for the second or more reservations (based on transaction date not arrival date) within a single Use Year associated with a single ownership interest. Guests who are not staying on an ownership stay should contact their booking source for their housekeeping schedule.
Allow us to stock your villa with your preferred groceries from the very first day of your vacation. For a nominal fee, we will stock your villa in advance with all of your favorite treats, beverages, sandwiches, breakfast foods and fare for the grill. Your villa will be furnished with a starter set of laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwashing liquid, and paper towels. Additional supplies are the responsibility of the owner or guest and may be purchased through the pre-stock service. To order groceries or supplies, please follow the directions below:

• All orders must be submitted at least 3 days prior to your arrival, and any item not currently in stock will be substituted with the same type of product that’s nearest in price to your original selection
• Your groceries will be delivered upon your arrival
• Standard in-room dining charge will apply
Prices are subject to change without notice. Cancellation of grocery orders is required within 24 hours of requested delivery date and time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from scheduled delivery time will be subject to a 50% charge of the original grocery order. Any cancellation charge will be posted to the guest room account.
Unfortunately, the resort is unable to accept phase requests. The resort will make every effort to fulfill your other requests, but requests are subject to availability and therefore not guaranteed. Rollaway beds, cribs, highchairs and other special request items are limited in supply and are fulfilled on first-come, first-served basis. Charges apply for some special request items. Rollaway beds are limited to one per villa, offered for ground floor villas only in the Virgin Grand phase, and are not available in the studio villa due to space limitations. Special requests should be placed more than 24 hours in advance of your arrival. To make arrangements, Starwood Vacation Owners should contact Owner Services to place special requests; rental guests should contact their booking source or the resort directly; exchanger guests should contact the exchange company.
With the Westin Kids Club®, and a dedicated Teen Center, the resort makes your vacation a real vacation by providing supervised, super-fun activities for children day and night. You may find yourself competing with our counselors to spend time with your own kids! The Westin Kids Club is available seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Due to local child care laws, the Westin Kids Club is available to children 3 years of age (potty trained) and up. The Westin Kids Club offers supervised arts and crafts, indoor/outdoor games, iguana feedings, pool activities, movies, board games, PlayStation, Wii and foosball. Hourly, half-day, full-day and evening sessions are available.
In order to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible and to keep your villa clean and comfortable, our policy is that pets are not permitted in the villas. Allow us to assist you in finding one of the many kennels and pet boarding facilities in the area to best serve your needs. Please make arrangements prior to your arrival by calling the resort directly. Exceptions are made for service animals that fall within the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Breathe in the fresh air. Smoking is not permitted in your villa, including your balcony or lanai at The Westin St. John Resort & Villas. There are designated smoking areas throughout the resort. Violation of this smoking policy may result in a $200US nonrefundable fine charged to your folio.
In addition, please note that effective February 10, 2011 the U.S. Virgin Islands Smoke-free Act prohibits smoking in enclosed areas of public places, including restaurants and bars, enclosed areas of places of employment, in or within 20 feet of any outdoor service or waiting line, and within 20 feet of any public transportation station or platform open to the public.
The resort is happy to accept and store packages or luggage that you wish to send prior to your arrival (handling fees apply). If the package is sent via US Postal Service, the package must be sent to the resort’s post office mailbox. If the P.O. Box is not included in the address, the St. John post office will return the package to the sender’s address.

Upon check-in, please advise the Concierge that you are awaiting a package. They will locate your package and deliver it to your villa.
If arriving directly from the U.S. mainland (or Puerto Rico, Hawai‘i, Alaska):
• Proof of identity (valid driver’s license or proof of citizenship required)
If arriving from North America, Central America, Caribbean, Bermuda:
• Passport required for all air, land and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda.
• Passport or proof of U.S. citizenship required
• Tickets and documents for return or onward travel
• Vaccinations – None required

• Note: A voter’s registration card does NOT constitute proof of U.S. citizenship. Acceptability should be checked with the airline carrier. Persons using a voter’s registration card may be subject to extensive questioning on return to the U.S by immigration authorities.
