Resort Advisory

Important information that may affect your stay

From April 1 to May 29, Sheraton Mountain Vista will be replacing the exterior sidewalks to comply with ADA requirements. A significant amount of this work will take place at the main entrance to the lobby, and also at the entrance to the exterior pool. Old sidewalks will be removed and replaced with new concrete in stages. Please anticipate to see and hear work daily from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Loud noises (i.e. jackhammers) will not begin before 9 a.m. each day. Please be aware that there may be dust debris present. For your comfort, the pool and the sundeck on the 7th floor will be available throughout the project.

Guest Services

Check-in/Check-out

We invite you to check in any time after 4 p.m., and request that you check out by 10 a.m. If your arrival or departure does not coincide with our schedule, you’re welcome to leave your bags with us at the Front Desk so that you may enjoy the surrounding resort facilities. For your safety, we will only issue villa keys to those who are listed on your reservation, unless other arrangements have been made.

Concierge and Unique Services

To make dining, transportation and excursion arrangements prior to your arrival, please contact the resort directly and ask for the Concierge.

During ski season, there is a chair lift and gondola that runs from Avon up to the Beaver Creek ski area. At the close of ski season (typically in mid April), the chair lift and gondola will close. Guests may continue to use the shuttle service to travel to Beaver Creek Village. If traveling during the summer, we recommend you bring a personal automobile to ensure convenient and reliable transportation.

Housekeeping

Your villa will receive a midweek limited service tidy (limited to towel exchange and trash removal) if you are staying for at least seven nights. If you are staying for more than a week, an additional housekeeping service will be scheduled during the check-in process. Midweek service is not provided for stays less than seven nights. Additional housekeeping services are available directly through the resort for a fee. Additional housekeeping fees will be automatically charged to your villa folio for the second or more reservations (based on transaction date not arrival date) within a single Use Year associated with a single ownership interest.

Guests whose stay is reserved with a nightly rental rate should contact their booking source or the resort directly for housekeeping provisions.

Personalized Details

Ski Lockers

If you will have skis with you, we invite you to use the ski lockers we have adjacent to the lobby. You can pick up the keys for them at the Front Desk. To maintain the quality of our accommodations for all of our guests, we do not allow skis to be stored in your villa.

Special Requests

If you’re traveling with little ones or an extra friend, just let us know, and we’ll make every effort to fulfill your requests. Rollaway beds, cribs and other special request items are limited in supply and are fulfilled on first-come, first-served basis. Charges apply for rollaway beds and some other special request items. To make arrangements, Starwood Vacation Owners should contact Owner Services to place special requests; rental guests should contact their booking source or the resort directly; exchanger guests should contact the exchange company, but requests are subject to availability and therefore not guaranteed. Charges apply for some special requests. Rollaway beds are limited to one per villa and are not available in the one-bedroom villas due to space limitations.

Parking

Ample and convenient self-parking is provided throughout the property. Additionally, alternate parking arrangements for RVs or oversized vehicles can be made by calling the resort directly, as they are not allowed on property. We will be delighted to help you make these arrangements when you contact the resort front desk at 970 748 6000. Please note that parking fees are assessed to some guest types.

Pets

In order to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible and to keep your villa clean and comfortable, our policy is that pets are not permitted anywhere on the resort property. Allow us to assist you in finding one of the many kennels and pet boarding facilities in the area to best serve your needs. Please make arrangements prior to your arrival by calling the resort directly. Exceptions are made for pets that fall within the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Stay Connected

Bring your laptop and enjoy complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access inside your villa and in other places around the resort.

Smoking Policy

Take a deep breath. Sheraton Mountain Vista is a completely smoke-free resort and prohibits smoking in your villa, on the balcony or anywhere on the resort property. Violation of this policy will result in a $200 non-refundable cleaning charge. In addition, the town of Avon observes the Eagle County smoking ordinance, which prohibits smoking in public places, places of employment, service lines, at recreational facilities or at outdoor seating areas.
