Harborside Resort at Atlantis has various maintenance projects planned throughout 2015, including an electrical project to change out a power transformer in late April. The power to the villas in Buildings 1,2, and 7, the Point Restaurant and Cart, the resort’s fitness center, Sales Gallery and Main Lobby will be shut down on April 30 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Point Restaurant will be open during its normal operational hours and will make provisions to serve a continental breakfast and a BBQ for lunch. Please note that the amenities at Harborside Resort at Atlantis and the pools and all amenities at Atlantis, Paradise Island will remain open for your enjoyment. We appreciate your understanding during this upcoming project.
United States citizens traveling between the United States and the Bahamas, regardless of age, are required to show a passport to re-enter the United States.
The food and beverage outlets at Atlantis, Paradise Island operate cashless. The resort will authorize an initial credit card deposit equal to $100 per day at check-in. Additional authorizations will be obtained as required throughout the stay.
As of January 2015, the Bahamian government has implemented the VAT, a new type of consumption tax charged at 7.5% on most goods and services that businesses provide in The Bahamas. VAT is also charged on goods and certain services imported from outside The Bahamas.
